Mission Statement

Excerpt from speech given to the former members of the FTL, by Tam Elbrun.

This new organization, built on the bones of the Free Traders League, is dedicated to the accumulation of wealth, and power in it's various forms. To this end the former FTL assets are being subsumed into this organization. Leadership of the fleet vessels will be changing, as will some of the duty assignments, but this is to increase the profit potential of the organization as a whole. No longer will we stick to just a small portion of the criminal pie, now we shall expand into other lucrative areas of criminal endeavor, piracy, spice smuggling, extortion, gun running, these are but a few of the areas to be conquered...

As of this moment, the FTL is no more. In it's place a new, and more ruthless organization is given birth, the Fire Nebula Syndicate. As to the break away of Tyn Lytor and a portion of the old FTL, let them be, they did well by us, and we shall leave them in peace, unless they force a confrontation...

To those that we held treaties and agreements, those treaties and agreements hold no force now. The Fire Nebula Syndicate dictates terms, it does not accept terms from others. The Durasteel hand in the velvet glove, let them see the glove, but they must feel the fist if they tempt fate...

Today we celebrate destiny fulfilled, and enemies to be vanquished. Today we begin our reign...

Updated Mission Statement

Excerpt from speech given at ground breaking of Diosha Colony, by Lord Elbrun.

The Fire Nebula Syndicate has gone through changes, many changes. Hopefully for the betterment of all. With this colony we grow into an organization not just limited to the destructive tendencies of the galaxy, but also the constructive tendencies. We hold this to be proof of the good that can come from the ashes of the wars and conflicts throughout the galaxy at large. That a group of criminals can build a home for families and friends. A home without the influence of the Empire or the 'New' Republic. A home to grow, prosper, and thrive.

This colony shall be governed with a benevolent hand, for we all want our families and homes to be places of safety and peace. Toward this end I declare that no activity of the Syndicate shall be held here. Our enforcers shall be law enforcers here. We shall not allow disruption of our families.

Let this place be a place of peace.
