NPC Starfighter Pilots:

Pilot Name: Kat
Callsign: Sketch
Species: Human
Sex: Female
Age: 22

Physical Description:

Slightly short height, and a slim but muscular physique mark Kat’s appearance. As does her choice of dress, which tends to be considered provocative to most males. Another unique feature is her tattoed face, which look like a warrior cult tradition to most first time observers. Nobody knows the meanings beyond her tattoes but her. Other tattoes have been sighted on her body but have never been recorded. She has shoulder length brown hair which is usually tied in the back. She has green eyes.

Bio:

Kat doesn’t know her real name. Taken as a slave off a cruise ship near the Core as a young girl, she was raised amongst a pirate band. Little is known about her except that she at some point earned the trust of her masters enough to kill them and escape. By the time of her escape she seemed to already be a capable pilot and she soon found work in aerial bounty hunting. Chasing down wanted smugglers and mercenaries who had prices on their heads. She had begun to gain a reputation in this work when an incident occurred that changed her, rumor has it she befriended and became lovers with a man that several weeks later tried to kill her for reasons unknown. She killed him instead and immediately sold her modified scout ship and bought a rickety old tie fighter and began work as a freelance pilot. A dozen combat convoy escort missions later she got a job offer to join the Illarum Knights.

Pilot Name: Cabal Armand
Callsign: Dead-eye
Species: Human
Sex: Male
Age: 31

Physical Description:

Tall with a commanding look and a cybernetic eye, Cabal looks the part of the holovid drama villain. This is matched by his cybernetic arm and gruff nature. He has a heavy build, and his one good eye is blue.

Bio:

Cabal’s background is self recorded, no records of his history can be found, but some aspects of his history have been verifiable, lending truth to his words. He claims to have been a pirate, part boarder, part pilot. Working with a group called Merichek’s Legion. Consisting of a fleet of smaller converted freighters, boarding craft, and a handful of fighters, this group reigned terror among several outer rim worlds and spacelanes. A New Republic patrol put an end to its activities by laying a trap for the pirate group, an unguarded convoy, which the pirates fell upon hastily. Suddenly surrounded by New Republic warships, the group scattered and tried to flee, most of the pirate ships were destroyed, with a few surrendering. The ship Cabal was on took a hit to the compartment Cabal was in and he was seriously injured. The ship escaped and Cabal was later treated by a friend amongst the freighter crew. Left to recover at a hospital on an outer rim world, he decided to find an alternative occupation and turned mercenary once the hospital released him. Working off medical bills as a pilot in a planetary defense force for 2 years, he soon picked up real mercenary work for a company known as “Troubleshooters”, which is notorious for contracting out pilots to do less than reputable jobs. His reputation as a survivor and his wide ranging experienced landed him a job offer to the Illarum Knights.

Pilot Name: Evely Tess’ler
Callsign: Gunslinger
Species: Human
Sex: Female
Age: 31

Physical Description:

A tint of age has begun to wear at a beautiful face. With a medium build and average height, Evely is a good stereotype veteran female military officer. Her piloting skills are coupled by her administrative and mechanical skills, she once was put on a defense force recruiting poster in full flight gear across the planet she once called home. This made her a minor celebrity for a time. She has short blond hair and blue eyes.

Bio:

Evely’s long career as a starfighter pilot began at an early age after she won an appointment to the Imperial Naval Academy on Carida. At the time, Emperor Palpatine still ruled and the anti-alien and anti-female bias was at its peak. Her training as a starfighter pilot was hampered by this till a documented incident between her and a male pilot-trainee in which he tried to get her kicked out by accusing her of trying to seduce him. Tendering her resignation, she left the academy and in turn was all but rejected by her upper class New Order fanatic family. Taking up some financial support from her grandfather, she managed to receive training at a starship mechanics school. There she won a slot in a piloting course taught with the use of a couple trainer starfighters. After that she applied to, and won a position at a small starfighter academy that was a satellite college for the mechanical school. Graduating there with honors she accepted a commission with the planet’s defense force. A couple years there lended her a great deal of experience in a variety of fighters and eventually command of a fighter squadron. She mustered out after 7 years of service when the Empire began to fall apart and the defense force was being mobilized and absorbed by the imperial fleet. Nowhere else to go, she accepted a single mission contract by a trading company, flying shotgun for a convoy in an aging Z-95 headhunter. A pirate attack during that mission gained her several kills and she singlehandedly kept the convoy safe. An act that earned her a reputation among the freelance pilot community. The Illarum Knights offered her the most lucrative job by far so she took it.

Pilot Name: Zak Ro’han
Callsign: Firefly
Species: Twi’lek
Sex: Male
Age: 23

Physical Description:

Zak is a light skinned twi’lek with a small build. Although not impressively strong, he has very fast reflexes.

Background:

Zak was born to a small group of twi’lek refugees who came to reside on the smuggler’s paradise known as Port Haven. Learning from his parents he quickly took up the trade of repairing starfighters. Eventually he saved up enough credits to buy passage off Port Haven. Through dealing with some shadowy criminal characters he acquired skills as a starfighter pilot. After a falling out with his previous employers he started looking for a new home, and signed on with the Illarum Knights.

Pilot Name: Oarel Diegl
Callsign: Badjo
Species: Human
Sex: Male
Age: 25

Physical description:

You couldn’t tell Oarel was an assault trooper by looking at him. Long wild hair, a mustache, and often wild clothes reveal his independent character. He has red hair, copper eyes, and a tattoo of a skull and crossbones on his right shoulder.

Bio:

A former Espo assault trooper, Oarel was born in the Corporate Sector Authority and went through military training with ease, the paper trail he left behind suggests he did work with CSA special forces for a time, but he denies this. Somewhere in his career he was part of a cross training program with the CSA Starfighter Corps where he picked up the basics of starfighter piloting. Additional flight time picked up later gave him proficiency in this, and it soon became his saving grace after an incident in the field where he struck up an argument with his commanding officer. Apparently the incident ended in violence, putting the officer in a bacta tank and putting Oarel in the brig up for trial for assault. Offered a shot at freedom if he participated in a solo infiltration operation, he agreed. Flying a modified fighter onto a world to complete a mission that is still classified. Job completed, he was pardoned but banned from CSA military service. Job pickings for assault troopers at the time were scarce and the pay lowsy, so he took up flying instead, starting out as a freighter pilot for a small company and working his way into a convoy escort service where he logged more than 5,000 flight hours and several recorded kills. A chance to fly advanced fighters was too much to pass up, so he joined the Illarum Knights.

Pilot Name: Varsal Ben’hera
Callsign: Spike
Species: Quarren
Sex: Male
Age: 32

Physical Description:

Varsal’s appearance is typical of a Quarren, of normal height, bluish eyes and typical skin tone. His roguish nature is displayed by his liking of spiked clothing, especially bracelets and belts. Which make him look dangerous.

Bio:

Varsal was born on Mon Calamari. He applied to and was accepted to the New Republic Starfighter training program, early discipline problems resulted in his expulsion from the program. Outcasted by his family he left the Republic and became a freighter pilot, a chance to fly a salvaged Zebra starfighter led to him once again pursuing being a pilot. His success in a barely flyable starfighter caught the eye of the Knights and led to his recruitment. When not flying he paints portraits, usually of nebulas and other space phenomena.

Pilot Name: Habin Londar
Callsign: Blue
Species: Human
Sex: Male
Age: 26

Bio:

Habin Londar was born on Kuat to a middle class family. From birth he dreamed of flying. Once he came of age he applied to the Imperial military as a starfighter pilot. However, he was turned down because he possessed a criminal record, some 3 years earlier he was involved in a drunken fight with a man in which he killed him. With his dreams of being a pilot destroyed, Habin had sunk into a depressive routine, working a low paying job at the Kuat Starport and spending most of his free time watching holovids. Then some 6 years later he met a freelance starfighter pilot who offered to teach him to fly, for a price of course. Habin jumped at the offer and learned to fly a beat up Cloakshape starfighter. Shortly afterwards that starfighter pilot was in an accident that permanently kept him from flying, and Habin inherited the pilot’s starfighter. He started doing work as a freelancer until the Illarum Knights offered him a job.
